Clinical & Medical AI Expert (English Speakers)

About the role

As a Clinical & Medical AI Expert you will join TELUS Digital’s AI Community to ensure that artificial intelligence used in healthcare delivers medically accurate and safe outputs. You will work with large language models, reviewing and annotating clinical data so that AI reasoning aligns with professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Audit AI “Chain‑of‑Thought” reasoning for diagnostics to guarantee compliance with international protocols such as ICD‑11 and DSM‑5.
• Verify drug interaction, dosage, and contraindication suggestions against peer‑reviewed literature.
• Label complex biomedical datasets—including MRI/CT images, pathology reports, and genomic data—to improve visual‑spatial model reasoning.
• Identify and mitigate “medical hallucinations” by creating safety guardrails for clinical deployment.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MD/MBBS), Pharmacy (PharmD), Nursing, or Biomedical Sciences.
• Native‑level proficiency in your primary language (C2+).
• At least B1 level English for technical research and reporting.
• Successful completion of a subject‑specific qualification exam and ID verification.
