Clearance & Brokerage Training Specialist

About the role

The Clearance & Brokerage Training Specialist will design, develop and deliver technical learning solutions that enhance the capabilities of our clearance and brokerage teams. Working closely with Operations, Quality, Compliance and subject‑matter experts, you will ensure employees have the knowledge and skills needed to provide compliant, efficient and customer‑focused customs services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver onboarding, technical, compliance and refresher training programs for clearance and brokerage staff.
• Conduct training needs analysis based on operational performance, quality trends, process changes and business requirements.
• Create and maintain facilitator guides, e‑learning modules, job aids and other knowledge resources.
• Act as the subject‑matter expert on customs regulations, clearance processes and best practices.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, coaching observations, operational metrics and stakeholder feedback, and implement continuous improvements.
• Support new process implementations, system enhancements and transformation initiatives through training and change‑management activities.
• Partner with regional leaders to align learning solutions with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Business Administration, Education or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in customs clearance, brokerage operations, trade compliance, logistics or learning & development.
• Strong knowledge of customs regulations and industry standards.
• Proven ability to analyze performance data and translate findings into effective training solutions.
