Civil Engineer – Transport Infrastructure Design

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its transport infrastructure team. You will translate abstract concepts into detailed design models, supporting the delivery of resilient and thriving urban projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce Autodesk Civil 3D and Civil 12D models for transport infrastructure projects.
• Generate accurate 2D drawings from models while ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to convert concepts into detailed design outputs.
• Mentor junior team members through knowledge sharing and guidance.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, schedule, and budget expectations, following QA/QC procedures.

Required profile

• Experience with Civil 12D software and a strong background in computer‑aided drafting and modelling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Navisworks (highly desirable).
• Solid understanding of data interoperability between key design platforms.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and construction methods is a plus.
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent qualification in drafting technology or a related field.
