Civil Engineer

About the role

Jacobs is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its transport infrastructure team. You will be responsible for creating detailed design models and drawings that support the delivery of high‑quality, on‑time projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and produce Autodesk Civil 3D and Civil 12D models for transport infrastructure projects.
• Generate accurate 2‑D drawings from the models while ensuring compliance with project standards.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate conceptual ideas into detailed design outputs.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to build team capability.
• Deliver work that meets quality, schedule and budget expectations, following QA/QC procedures.

Required profile

• Experience with Civil 12D software and a strong background in computer‑aided drafting and modelling.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation and Navisworks (highly desirable).
• Understanding of data interoperability between major design platforms.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and construction methods is a plus.
• Relevant Bachelor’s degree, college diploma or equivalent qualification in drafting technology or a related field.
