Civil Drafter – Roads Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Civil Drafter to support the design and delivery of transport infrastructure projects, contributing to multidisciplinary road projects from tender through detailed design.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil engineering plans, profiles, cross‑sections and construction documentation.
• Maintain drawing standards, levels, references, naming conventions and project documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to deliver coordinated, construction‑ready civil drawings.
• Support project delivery in line with quality, budget and schedule requirements.
• Assist the implementation of CAD/BIM and digital engineering standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience on major road projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working on Australian state or local government transport projects.
• Familiarity with Australian state drafting standards and ISO 19650.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and attention to detail.
