Chef de Partie – Full‑time Culinary Role

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at our Manila hotel. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the service team during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters; thaw frozen items safely.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, garnish, and maintain food logs.
• Monitor food quality and quantity, communicating assistance needs during peak times.
• Inform the Chef of excess items for daily specials and update service staff on menu specials and out‑of‑stock items.
• Prepare and cook both hot and cold foods, adhering to safety and hygiene protocols.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and employee coaching as needed.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• No prior supervisory experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
