Category Manager

About the role

The Category Manager will shape the product mix and production volumes to align with both short‑term sales targets and long‑term brand strategy. This role bridges product development, merchandising, and in‑store marketing to drive optimal performance across the retail floor.

Key responsibilities

• Determine the optimal product assortment and production quantities based on global and product strategies.
• Create and maintain sales floor plans, in‑store marketing, and merchandising layouts in line with the mid‑term plan.
• Develop and execute detailed product and production plans, linking them to merchandise planning.
• Continuously adjust yearly, monthly, and weekly business plans based on performance data to meet numerical goals.
• Formulate seasonal budgets by color, pattern, and size, reflecting business trends and demand.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Textile/Fashion Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising, category management, or a similar role, preferably at an Assistant Manager or Manager level.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and production data.
• Customer‑centric approach and solution‑oriented problem‑finding skills.
