Cargo Representative

About the role

The Cargo Representative is responsible for handling high‑value cargo throughout its lifecycle – from acceptance and inspection to loading, unloading and release. The role ensures accurate documentation, proper labeling, and safe handling of cargo in warehouse or branch environments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform cargo acceptance procedures, complete SACC forms and verify all required documents (HAWB, MAWB, manifests, etc.).
• Inspect cargo for packaging integrity, tampering or pilferage before acceptance and scanning.
• Apply destination stickers, labels, and manually jack‑wrap cargo; organize items on pallets or crates.
• Load and unload cargo safely, check truck seals, and report any discrepancies.
• Release cargo to consignees following established procedures and create incident reports for any irregularities.
• Assist walk‑in clients, maintain cleanliness of the operations area, and update task status in the designated communication groups.
• Perform cargo crating and other related duties as assigned by the Immediate Superior.

Required profile

• Graduate of any vocational course or at least college level.
• Preferably experienced in cargo logistics, warehousing, or a related field.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 kg.
• Customer‑service oriented with a professional demeanor.
• Strong mathematical ability for accurate counting and weight calculations.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
