Camarero/a – Contrato de Sustitución

About the role

We are looking for a motivated waiter to join our team at Hotel Don Jaime 54 on a full‑time temporary basis. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality service to our guests while maintaining the standards of our hospitality brand.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare work areas and set up stations for service.
• Mix and serve cocktails, beverages, and simple appetizers.
• Handle billing and payments using the hotel’s proprietary software.
• Follow reception protocols, greet guests, and ensure a courteous farewell.
• Restock supplies, monitor consumption, and manage inventory of beverage cabinets.
• Assist in the setup and service of special events.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the service area and equipment.
• Comply with quality, environmental, and occupational safety regulations.

Required profile

• Medium‑level vocational training in restaurant services; higher training in kitchen management, first aid, gastronomy, wines, or cocktails is valued.
• Minimum two years of experience in restaurant or café environments.
• Intermediate to advanced English and German language skills, as needed.
• Basic computer literacy (office applications and internet).
• Flexibility, sociability, initiative, and strong customer orientation.
• Food‑handler certificate, HACCP knowledge, valid driver’s license, and work permit.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS (TPV) systems.
• Basic office software competence.
