CAD CAM Mechanical Engineering Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled CAD CAM Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our manufacturing team at the Mall of Asia site in Pasay City. The role works night shift and focuses on creating and maintaining CNC cutting programs that translate engineering designs into efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Create CNC cutting programs using CAD/CAM software and keep program and cutting lists up‑to‑date.
• Troubleshoot programming issues raised by the production floor.
• Continuously improve programming processes based on feedback from production.
• Propose design changes that align with manufacturing capabilities.
• Support engineering and methods teams with technical input on manufacturability.
• Coordinate with engineering, methods and production to implement engineering changes.
• Produce 3D models and 2D drawings, and prepare fabrication drawings for the workshop.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related mechanical background.
• Minimum three years of experience in manufacturing processes, especially with steel and aluminum.
• Ability to work night shift and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for CNC programming.
• SolidWorks experience.
• 3D modeling and 2D drawing capabilities.
• Laser cutting CAM knowledge.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Press‑bending experience (asset).
• AutoCAD experience (asset).
