Business Unit Controller – Beauty/Retail

About the role

The Business Unit Controller will oversee the financial and control functions for the beauty and retail business, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth strategy and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development, consolidation and reporting of the annual budget and strategic plans.
• Gather, process and present financial information, analyze actual performance versus standards, and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage cash, investments, banking relationships and currency risk to ensure liquidity and optimal returns.
• Monitor the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate financial results across system modules.
• Conduct operational audits, implement corporate policies, and drive quality‑improvement initiatives to strengthen business controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, preferably a Certified Public Accountant.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or controller roles.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with a high focus on accuracy.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and provide data‑driven recommendations.
