Business Relationship Officer

About the role

The Business Relationship Officer supports the Business Center in meeting its volume targets by acquiring new accounts and cross‑selling YGC banking products. Working closely with the Business Relationship Manager, the officer helps drive sales performance and ensures that all client interactions are properly documented.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Business Relationship Manager in achieving monthly and quarterly sales goals.
• Prepare daily and monthly sales call plans, reports, and action‑plan records.
• Identify and acquire new retail banking customers while promoting cross‑sell opportunities.
• Develop and execute effective sales activities to market retail banking products.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales pipelines, and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (minimum four‑year program).
• Strong ability to work in a sales‑focused banking environment.
• Adaptability and willingness to apply learned tools in leadership situations.
• Good understanding of strategic planning and management concepts.

Required skills

• Knowledge of risk‑management controls.
• Working knowledge of credit evaluation, analysis, and banking policies.
• Familiarity with account management and retail banking products.
