Business Development – Supplier and Product Sourcing

About the role

This position focuses on identifying and securing pharmaceutical suppliers and products for the Philippine market. The role involves market research, data analysis, and direct communication with partners to expand the company’s product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Research and source suppliers through online channels, conventions, and existing contacts.
• Send introductory emails and manage day‑to‑day communication with potential and existing partners.
• Collect and analyse IMS data on sales value, volume, competitors, growth trends and product details.
• Collaborate with the OM/BDM team to shortlist and select potential products.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQ and batch sizes via email based on market research.
• Participate in contract, agreement and addenda discussions.
• Respond to supplier inquiries regarding regulatory requirements and provide standard documentation guidelines.
• Coordinate additional product opportunity discussions as needed.
• Join calls with suppliers and internal teams to address concerns and track actions.
• Maintain and update reports and databases for management review.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Pharmacist or graduate of a related healthcare course.
• Excellent communication skills.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Personable with strong negotiation and forecasting abilities.
• Proficient computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel.
