Business Development Representative (BDR)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to accelerate our growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new B2B prospects. The successful candidate will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to build a robust pipeline of qualified leads.

Key responsibilities

• Research target industries, decision‑makers, and business opportunities.
• Conduct outbound prospecting via cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and other channels.
• Introduce the company’s products and value proposition to prospective clients.
• Qualify leads using criteria such as need, budget, authority, timeline, and fit.
• Schedule meetings, demos, or discovery calls for senior sales staff.
• Maintain accurate prospect data and pipeline status in the CRM.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations on lead‑generation initiatives.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities.
• Meet or exceed targets for outreach, qualified leads, and pipeline generation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field (preferred).
• 2‑3 years of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation or inside sales.
• Proven track record in B2B outbound prospecting and client acquisition.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Highly organized, self‑motivated and comfortable in a target‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms and sales engagement tools.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or ZoomInfo.
• Ability to conduct cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting.
• Research, negotiation, relationship‑building, and lead‑qualification expertise.
