Business Development Officer – Renewable Sector

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager / Officer to join Bureau Veritas S.A. in Makati City, Metro Manila. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities in the industry sector.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities in the industry sector.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure new clients and contracts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and clients through excellent account management.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions that meet client needs.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform the sales strategy.
• Contribute to the overall sales and business development objectives of the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven track record in new business development, preferably in the industry sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills to secure new business.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and trends.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a proactive, results‑driven approach.
• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent sales/business development experience.
