Business Development Officer

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Officer to expand our GIS and license‑reselling business units. You will be responsible for generating strategic leads, negotiating complex deals, and managing the full customer lifecycle from acquisition to retention.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate leads for GIS and license‑reselling opportunities while staying current on industry trends.
• Draft proposals, deliver tailored product presentations, and lead negotiations to close deals.
• Oversee accounts from initial engagement through long‑term retention, including contract renewals and client escalations.
• Provide technical expertise on GIS concepts, geo‑location solutions, and Google Maps licenses to ensure smooth implementation.
• Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders and senior executives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geodetic Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• 6 months to 2 years of sales experience, preferably in technical sales, GIS, or geo‑location services.
• Solid familiarity with GIS products and Google Maps license terms.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and analytical problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Filipino.
