Budget Support Associate – Finance Operations

About the role

The Budget Support Associate will work within the Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC) Finance Hub, supporting the National Budget Support Officer in maintaining accurate budget data for IOM operations in the Philippines. This position ensures compliance with IOM financial rules and contributes to effective budget monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and validate budget data in PRIMA and WAVE systems.
• Monitor budgetary controls, tolerance levels, and utilization.
• Address routine budget‑related system and process issues.
• Support monthly Staff Cost Allocation (SCA) and Common Cost Allocation (CCA) updates in PULSE and submissions to PPM.
• Maintain related documentation and assist with process improvements.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under supervision.
• Good analytical skills and familiarity with budget monitoring.

Required skills

• Experience with PRIMA budgeting software.
• Proficiency in WAVE financial system.
• Knowledge of PULSE cost allocation tool.
• Understanding of PPM submission processes.
