Branch Pharmacist

About the role

The Branch Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring safe and accurate dispensing of medicines at a retail pharmacy location. This role involves direct patient interaction, coordination with corporate pharmacy leadership, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Validate the accuracy of prescriptions and dispense medicines accordingly.
• Provide patient counseling and address drug‑related queries.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Corporate Pharmacist.
• Maintain up‑to‑date reference books and ensure they are readily available.
• Oversee proper storage, remove expired or compromised stock, and keep the medicine cabinet organized.
• Ensure all medicines are stored in good condition.
• Represent the store during FDA and PDEA inspections.
• Conduct training to keep store personnel informed about product updates and best practices.

Required profile

• Registered Pharmacist or licensed holder.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and a compressed work week (5 days on, 2 days off).
• Availability to work on holidays and weekends when needed.
• Open to relocation; allowances are provided for eligible candidates.
