Billing Specialist – Clio Expertise (Remote)

About the role

Geraci LLP is seeking a detail‑oriented Billing Specialist with deep expertise in Clio to manage and optimise the firm’s billing operations remotely. You will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing while supporting attorneys and staff with all billing‑related processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end legal billing using Clio Manage and/or Clio Grow.
• Review attorney and staff time entries for completeness and accuracy.
• Generate, review, and finalise client invoices, including monthly, interim and project‑based billing.
• Monitor client retainers, request replenishment, and process payments.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies proactively.
• Prepare billing reports and provide insights to improve efficiency.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities related to billing.
• Maintain organised billing files and up‑to‑date client records.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of legal billing or financial administration experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Clio Manage and/or Clio Grow (must‑have).
• Strong understanding of legal billing workflows, trust accounting and compliance.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with invoicing, accounts receivable and payment processing.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Two professional references and a recent criminal background check.
