Bar Manager – Luxury River Cruise

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Bar Manager to lead the bar operations on a first‑class river cruise ship. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining high standards for beverage storage and presentation, and ensuring the bar area runs smoothly in line with Scylla standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire bar area, including inventory control and beverage storage.
• Ensure professional, friendly service and consistent presentation of all food & beverage items on board.
• Conduct daily briefings, train new crew members, and develop the existing bar team.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall guest experience.

• Proven leadership abilities with a passion for hospitality and beverages.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, onboard environment.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and adapt to rotating schedules.
