Back-End Developer (Hybrid)

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for a skilled Back-End Developer to join its hybrid team in Cagayan De Oro. You will build and maintain robust, scalable server‑side applications and APIs that power our client solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Translate business requirements into efficient server‑side logic and database schemas.
• Integrate third‑party services, internal systems, and cloud resources.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing services for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with front‑end, QA, and product teams to deliver high‑quality software on schedule.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proven ability to build and consume RESTful APIs.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
