About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Procurement to lead strategic sourcing and supplier management for a leading Philippine food manufacturing company. The role will drive cost‑optimization, risk mitigation and contract negotiations for raw materials, ingredients, packaging and other indirect spend.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s procurement strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Lead sourcing initiatives for raw materials, ingredients, packaging and indirect categories.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and cost savings.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance monitoring and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and quality compliance.
- Mentor and develop a high‑performing procurement team.
Required profile
- Graduate of any four‑year degree program; MBA is a plus.
- Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within food manufacturing or food ingredients.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier and contract management, and high‑level negotiations.
- Strong commercial acumen, decision‑making and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to work onsite daily in BGC, Taguig City.
