Automation QA Engineer (Playwright) – Hybrid

About the role

Directio, a global IT services firm, is seeking an Automation QA Specialist for a French client in the eyewear industry. The role focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining automated test solutions using Playwright while supporting the overall quality strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance automation frameworks and test suites, ensuring maintainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with Manual QA to prioritize and transition test cases to automation.
• Execute system, integration and regression testing, providing comprehensive test coverage.
• Prepare status reports, monitor automation processes and flag potential risks.
• Coordinate with development and support teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in Automation QA and 2+ years in Manual QA.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite in Alabang, 2 days remote) and night shifts.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Playwright automation framework.
• Database technologies: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB.
• Test design techniques and QA methodologies.
• Understanding of SDLC and CMMI processes.

What we offer

• Salary: PHP 75,000 – 85,000 per month.
