Audit Technician

About the role
The Audit Technician provides standardized audit support to engagement teams, handling process‑driven tasks accurately and efficiently. This enables auditors to concentrate on higher‑risk and judgmental areas of the audit.
Key responsibilities
- Set up, roll‑forward, and maintain audit files in audit systems.
- Process and format audit documentation and working papers.
- Handle bank confirmations and audit confirmation requests, including follow‑up.
- Extract and compile financial, statutory, and other relevant data.
- Maintain proper documentation and support engagement file close‑out.
- Track tasks and deliver outputs within agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Collaborate with onshore audit teams and proactively escalate issues.
Required profile
- Minimum diploma in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- Technical‑Vocational (TESDA) qualifications with accounting exposure are acceptable.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Prior experience in audit support or shared services is an advantage.
