Audit Staff

About the role

The Audit Staff member will support the internal audit function by conducting audit assignments across multiple departments and business units. This role involves evaluating controls, identifying risks, and delivering actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal audit assignments in line with approved audit plans and procedures.
• Perform detailed testing of internal controls, financial records, and operational processes.
• Document findings, observations, and recommendations in comprehensive working papers and audit reports.
• Prepare and present audit reports and presentations to management, highlighting control deficiencies and suggested improvements.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation and effectiveness.
• Assist in developing and maintaining audit programs, procedures, and tools.
• Liaise with operational management and finance teams to gather information and clarify audit findings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the internal audit function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Internal Auditing.
• Professional accounting or auditing qualification, or a commitment to obtain one.
• 1‑3 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk management principles, and audit methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• High integrity, objectivity, and adherence to professional ethics.
• Willingness to travel to other business locations as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with audit software and tools.
• Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with financial systems.
