Associate Quality Engineer

About the role

Manulife IT Delivery Center is seeking a motivated Associate Quality Engineer to help ensure cloud applications are reliable, resilient, and high‑performing. You will join an agile team focused on delivering digital experiences for the insurance industry.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all agile ceremonies and contribute throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Create automation scripts from scratch and build comprehensive automation suites.
• Execute, debug, and maintain automated tests, integrating results into CI/CD pipelines.
• Update and extend the existing automation framework to accommodate new features and data changes.
• Review test code for best practices and suggest improvements to increase test value.
• Identify and resolve issues in the test process and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 0‑3 years of experience in software test or quality engineering.
• Ability to analyze requirements, define test scope, and design test scenarios and cases.
• Experience with test case management, defect tracking, and test automation tools.
• Understanding of various testing phases and agile methodologies.
