Associate Product Development Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices (ADI) is hiring an Associate Product Development Engineer, an entry-level graduate position to start a career in semiconductor solutions. You will learn the company's product engineering processes, assist senior team members and build foundational skills in electronic component development, working under the direct supervision of experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating the reliability of materials and properties used in production
• Learn to develop electronic parts, components and integrated circuitry
• Support basic testing and qualification efforts
• Work on well-defined tasks under direct supervision
• Contribute to documentation and testing procedures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Required skills

• Basic understanding of reliability principles and testing methodologies
• Foundational knowledge of electronic design concepts and practices
• Familiarity with basic mechanical and optical system principles
• Understanding of fundamental digital signal processing concepts and applications
• Knowledge of basic production techniques and processes
• Understanding of IC functionality and basic testing methods
• Experience with fundamental testing procedures and documentation

The position requires travel about 10% of the time. Positions involving access to technical data may require export licensing approval from the U.S. government, so non-U.S. citizens and permanent residents may need to undergo an export licensing review.
