Associate III – Purchasing

About the role

Ingram Micro is seeking an Associate III to lead purchasing activities across our product and service portfolio. You will ensure the right items are procured at the best price while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase products and services to meet internal demand and inventory targets.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors, ensuring quality and delivery standards.
• Collaborate with finance, logistics, and operations teams to resolve invoicing, shipment, and discrepancy issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and process transactions in the procurement system.
• Provide guidance and training to junior purchasing staff.

Required profile

• Seasoned individual contributor who works with limited supervision.
• Strong analytical abilities to address non‑routine problems.
• Ability to explain policies and procedures to cross‑functional partners.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior team members.
• Independent decision‑maker who follows established procurement procedures.
