Associate Engineer, Process Sustaining Engineering

About the role

Analog Devices (ADI) is hiring an Associate Engineer for its Process Sustaining Engineering team in GTC. The role sustains and optimizes manufacturing processes in a high-volume semiconductor environment, improving yield, quality, productivity and cost through data-driven decisions, process control, digital tools, automation and AI-enabled solutions. It is a graduate position with no professional experience required.

Key responsibilities

• Sustain and optimize manufacturing processes to improve yield, quality, productivity and cost performance.
• Analyze process and production data to find improvement opportunities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Apply quality and process control methods such as FMEA, SPC, Control Plans and OCAPs.
• Document and communicate process changes and improvement activities.
• Develop digital solutions, dashboards and automated workflows using Power BI, Power Automate, AI tools and other technologies.
• Support process development, qualifications, new product introductions and cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Computer, Electronics, Mechanical or Materials Engineering or a related discipline.
• No professional experience required; internship, academic project or research experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, data analytics, automation or continuous improvement is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and effective communication and teamwork.
• Self-motivated, interested in innovation, process optimization and digital transformation.
• Travel of about 10% of the time is required.

Required skills

• Understanding of process control, statistical analysis and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI or equivalent.
• Exposure to Power Automate, scripting or workflow automation is an advantage.
