About the role

The Associate Director, US Payroll Operations will lead the payroll operations and systems teams to deliver accurate, compliant and efficient payroll processing for US employees. This senior position is responsible for overseeing end‑to‑end payroll execution while continuously seeking process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the payroll operations team to ensure timely and accurate payroll runs.
• Oversee payroll systems, guaranteeing data integrity and compliance with US payroll regulations.
• Monitor payroll processing for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure statutory filings are completed correctly.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with finance and HR partners to align payroll activities with broader financial reporting.
• Prepare and present payroll performance metrics and compliance reports to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing payroll operations, preferably in a US context.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• In‑depth knowledge of US payroll legislation and best practices.
• Ability to drive change and improve existing processes.
