Associate Director – Operations

About the role

The Associate Director – Operations will provide strategic leadership for the day‑to‑day operations of a Global Schools Foundation campus. This senior role ensures the school runs efficiently, supports enrollment targets, manages financial performance and oversees compliance, procurement and human‑resource activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic enrollment plans in partnership with Sales & Marketing to meet school development goals.
• Lead P&L management, driving profitability, revenue generation and cost optimisation.
• Oversee bookkeeping, budgeting, monthly financial statements and revenue reporting.
• Design and enforce policies for student billing, fee collection and petty‑cash management.
• Coordinate procurement, manage vendor relationships (transport, technology, supplies, uniforms, textbooks) and supervise competitive bidding processes.
• Ensure all compliance and reporting obligations are met, including special‑education reporting and board policy implementation.
• Collaborate with the Principal to forecast staffing needs, support recruitment and manage HR processes.

Required profile

• Organised professional with proven ability to manage the business side of a school.
• Strong leadership experience in strategic school operations and day‑to‑day management.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial oversight, budgeting and P&L responsibility.
• Experience in procurement, vendor management and compliance reporting.
• Ability to work closely with senior school leadership on staffing and HR planning.
