Associate Android Software Engineer

About the role

Infor is seeking an Associate Software Engineer focused on Android development to contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of product modules and mobile application features. The role works closely with senior engineers to build technical expertise while ensuring software quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android application features and product modules under senior guidance.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and technical discussions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, bugs, and technical issues.
• Implement enhancements, bug fixes, and customer‑requested functionality.
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Support integration testing, release testing, and beta‑support activities.
• Collaborate with QA, Product Support, Product Management, and other development teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Follow established coding standards, development processes, and quality practices.
• Assist with application deployment, build management, and CI/CD activities.
• Continuously expand technical skills and stay current with Android development technologies.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in software development, product development, internships, or technical support.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of software development methodologies, programming concepts, and object‑oriented design principles.
• Basic analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
• Understanding of software testing concepts and debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
