Associate Analytical Technician

About the role

Dow is seeking an Associate Analytical Technician to support its manufacturing operations in Las Pinas, Philippines. The role involves conducting laboratory analyses that generate critical data for production processes, ensuring quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory reagents, standards and samples according to established Sample Plans.
• Perform routine and non‑routine analytical tests under supervision, following standard operating procedures.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of chemicals and consumables.
• Execute basic calibration and preventive maintenance of analytical instrumentation.
• Evaluate data validity, document results and communicate findings to internal clients.
• Identify and escalate equipment issues or non‑routine requests to senior team members.
• Review and update laboratory test procedures as needed.
• Adhere to Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) and Operating Discipline Management System (ODMS) guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid PRC registration/license as Chemist or Chemical Technician.
• 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Ability to work shifts and operate independently with minimal supervision.
