Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Dusit Thani Lubi Plantation Resort. Working closely with sales, banquet and other departments, the role ensures smooth daily operations, high occupancy rates and adherence to hotel standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day front office activities and control lobby and entrance flow.
• Coordinate with Sales, Banquet and other teams to manage tours, groups, conventions and corporate clients.
• Maintain and update departmental systems and procedures.
• Assist the Rooms & Guest Services Manager in greeting and escorting VIP guests.
• Support training programmes and ensure staff follow company policies and standards.
• Monitor guest feedback, report incidents, accidents or thefts and document them in the logbook.
• Handle emergencies in collaboration with security and provide required documentation.
• Prepare and deliver required reports, inspect all operational areas for cleanliness and security, and ensure tasks are completed each shift.
• Manage guest complaints professionally and work within preset budgetary limits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in front office or reception operations within a hotel environment.
• Ability to supervise staff and work closely with multiple departments.
• Familiarity with hotel policies, emergency procedures and guest service standards.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for reporting and documentation.
• Capability to handle VIP guests, complaints and emergency situations calmly.
