Assistant Controller

About the role

The Assistant Controller will support the Corporate Controller in managing the full accounting cycle, including balance‑sheet reconciliations, monthly close, weekly revenue reporting, and preparation of financial statements. The role also offers exposure to consulting engagements with small‑ to mid‑size client companies in a dynamic, multi‑client environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage internal corporate accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, cash‑flow monitoring, bank reconciliations and expense tracking.
• Lead the monthly close process and perform detailed balance‑sheet reconciliations for both corporate and client portfolios.
• Generate weekly/bi‑weekly vendor payments, oversee the AR cycle, and process payroll across various platforms.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and deliver them to client leadership teams.
• Support financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasts, budgets and financial models.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with client stakeholders to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience as an Assistant Controller, Controller, Senior Accountant or a similar role.
• Experience in a multi‑client or consulting environment is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and IFRS and ability to manage the full accounting cycle.
• Exceptional written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks (required).
• Experience with Xero, NetSuite, Sage or other mid‑market accounting systems.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of PHP 120,000‑140,000 per month.
