Asset Recovery Assistant

About the role

The Asset Recovery Assistant supports Union Bank's foreclosure and property documentation processes. The role ensures timely payment of legal commissions, preparation of checks for registration fees and taxes, and coordination with government agencies to facilitate title releases, registrations, and consolidations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in foreclosure-related activities, including processing payments for legal fees and petitions for Extra‑Judicial Foreclosure and Certificate of Sale confirmations.
• Support the Registration Officer by preparing payments for registration fees and BIR taxes, releasing titles, and consolidating titles and tax declarations.
• Coordinate with the Register of Deeds, Bureau of Internal Revenue, Assessors’ Offices, and local government units to ensure timely submission of requirements.
• Manage assessment and payment of real estate taxes for acquired properties, maintaining accurate records.
• Perform administrative tasks, maintain documentation, and provide operational support for property registration and asset management.

Required profile

• Ability to support foreclosure and legal documentation processes.
• Strong coordination skills with government agencies such as the Register of Deeds, BIR, and Assessors.
• Experience handling real estate tax assessments and payments.
