Architectural Draftsperson (Revit)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Architectural Draftsperson with strong Revit expertise to join our team. You will collaborate with local designers and engineers on multi‑residential, retail, commercial and hotel projects, delivering creative design solutions and detailed construction documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to conceptual and schematic design phases, providing innovative design input.
• Produce detailed architectural drawings, plans, sections and elevations using Revit (and optionally Archicad or SketchUp).
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including construction details, material specifications and technical reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants via remote tools, ensuring design intent aligns with engineering and structural disciplines.
• Manage personal workload to meet project deadlines and deliver high‑quality documentation on time.
• Participate in quality control reviews, checking work for accuracy, completeness and consistency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; registration as an architect is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years of architectural experience, including multi‑residential projects and at least 2 years on Australian projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction methods, materials and building regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Availability to work within time zones compatible with the practice’s operating hours.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit (mandatory).
• Familiarity with Archicad and SketchUp (desirable).
• Experience with BIM workflows.
• Competence in using Microsoft Teams for remote collaboration.
