Architect – Data Centre Projects

About the role

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Architect to lead the design of mission‑critical data‑centre projects in the Philippines. You will translate abstract concepts into detailed layouts, drawings and specifications, working closely with multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality architectural plans, details and specifications for data‑centre facilities.
• Evaluate and adapt architectural techniques and criteria to meet project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and coordination meetings, resolving cross‑discipline issues.
• Support field construction by reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs and conducting site walks.
• Provide technical guidance to junior designers and contribute to proposals and budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Valid PRC Architect license.
• 10+ years of architectural design experience, preferably with mission‑critical or industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of the Philippine Building Code, Fire Code and accessibility requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with BIM workflows and common data environments (e.g., BIM 360).
• Familiarity with international codes/standards relevant to data centres.
