AQA Engineer – ATM Stream

About the role

Salmon is a technology‑driven fintech building a banking and lending platform across Southeast Asia. As an AQA Engineer you will create and maintain end‑to‑end automated tests for the web single‑page application that serves as the main user interface, helping to keep critical user flows reliable as the product scales.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain E2E automated tests for the web SPA using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Expand regression coverage across key screens and critical user journeys, including screenshot and visual testing.
• Collaborate with developers to debug flaky tests and improve overall test stability.
• Participate in manual acceptance testing for new features and UI changes.
• Contribute to page performance and load‑time optimisation from a quality perspective.

Required profile

• Strong experience with web end‑to‑end automation, preferably in SPA applications.
• Hands‑on experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and Playwright.
• Solid understanding of testing strategy and regression suite design.
• Proven ability to debug unstable or flaky UI tests.
• Comfort working with complex UI flows, including multi‑step and media‑driven interactions.
