Application Engineer – Workday & ServiceNow

About the role

The Application Engineer will act as a subject‑matter expert for Workday payroll and related modules, as well as ServiceNow HR Service Delivery. You will support the full software development lifecycle, configure and integrate enterprise applications, and provide day‑to‑day operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise on Workday modules such as Benefits, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence, Time Tracking, Integration, Security and Data Conversion.
• Configure, customize and integrate Workday and ServiceNow solutions with internal systems like SAP.
• Develop, debug and enhance existing code, including custom reports, EIB, Core Connectors, PICOF/PECI, Workday Studio and ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Elicit business requirements and translate them into actionable technical plans.
• Participate in an Agile DevOps team, handling change management and production issue resolution.
• Monitor interfaces, data loads, security settings and application performance.
• Document support procedures and maintain IP compliance.

Required skills

• Workday – advanced custom reports, EIB, Core Connectors, PICOF/PECI, Workday Studio, Workday Web Services.
• ServiceNow – HR Service Delivery Suite, system administration, portal configuration, REST and SOAP integrations.
• Scripting for workflow automation and low‑code development platforms.
• Integration experience with SAP or similar enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of security, data conversion and payroll processing within Workday.
