Analyst – Value Chain (Spanish Speaker) – Manila

About the role

BHP is looking for a motivated Analyst Value Chain to join the GBS Commercial Inbound team in Manila. The role supports supply chain and procurement activities, ensuring contracts are managed effectively and sourcing outcomes are sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Execute GBS processes and provide timely support to the Commercial Inbound team.
• Collaborate with Supply and other stakeholders to optimise sourcing and contract performance.
• Develop and maintain Category Strategies, ensuring alignment with local context.
• Administer contracts, track KPIs, perform spend analytics and manage off‑contract spend.
• Maintain contract data in BHP systems and support price review meetings.
• Lead or support tendering, negotiation and implementation of low‑risk/value contracts.
• Implement commercial techniques such as e‑sourcing and low‑cost country sourcing to drive value creation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a commercial, business or technical discipline.
• Experience in procurement, preferably using an ERP system.
• Willingness to work night shift hours.
• Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
