Analyst – Indirect Tax (GST)

About the role

KPMG Philippines is seeking an Analyst to join its Indirect Tax team, focusing on Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance. You will work closely with senior staff to support corporate clients in meeting GST obligations and improving their tax processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review GST return worksheets and final GST returns.
• Prepare and review GST Statement of Claims.
• Conduct GST health checks, including Assisted Self‑Help Kit (ASK) and Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) reviews.
• Collaborate with seniors and managers to assess GST transactions for compliance with legislation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Economics, Finance, Business or Law.
• Strong academic and co‑curricular achievements.
• Knowledge of local taxation laws is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, multitask and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills.
