Aircon Technician – HVAC Maintenance & Repair

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Aircon Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, ventilation, and related electrical systems. The successful candidate will ensure operational reliability and efficiency of all air‑conditioning equipment across our facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair air‑conditioning, ventilation, and electrical systems.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance, including filter and coil cleaning, and electrical panel checks.
• Respond promptly to HVAC service requests and Facility Management System tickets.
• Monitor system performance (temperature, cooling efficiency) and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct routine monthly and quarterly inspections of HVAC equipment.
• Maintain accurate service logs, maintenance records, and reports.
• Support emergency HVAC and electrical issues, including system breakdowns.
• Assist during major maintenance projects and coordinate with contractors.
• Recommend parts, materials, or system improvements based on performance data.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, PPE usage, and documentation standards.

Required profile

• Graduate of a Technical/Vocational course in HVAC, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 35 years of experience in air‑conditioning maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• TESDA RAC Servicing NC II (required); NC III (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of split‑type, window‑type, and VRF/VRV systems.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance, refrigerant handling, and leak detection.
• Familiarity with electrical PMS, panel checking, and basic electrical systems.
• Commitment to safety standards, PPE usage, and reliable work practices.
