About the role

The Air Freight Operations Specialist manages end‑to‑end air‑freight shipments, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and high customer satisfaction. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling bookings, documentation, and any issues that arise during transport.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with customers to collect shipment details, address incidents, and resolve complaints.
• Capture and assign costs and revenues to customer profiles, resolving billing discrepancies.
• Process bookings, gather required documentation, and coordinate local and international transport activities.
• Monitor shipments against service commitments, addressing operational issues promptly.
• Identify and report exceptions or irregularities to stakeholders.
• Improve data quality by ensuring accurate shipment records.
• Follow regulatory compliance procedures for commodities, destinations, and legal requirements.
• Develop optimal routing solutions that balance customer needs and profitability.
• Prepare and issue accurate invoices with supporting documentation.
• Use monitoring tools to track performance and recommend improvements.
