Adviser – Tax Advisory

About the role

We are seeking an Adviser – Tax Advisory to join one of Australia’s leading Big Four firms operating through a hybrid setup in Pampanga. The role involves delivering strategic tax advice on complex transactions, regulatory matters and business restructurings for Australian‑based clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns and advisory reports for review by engagement managers.
• Conduct technical research and draft advice on Australian income tax, GST, domestic and international structuring, and cross‑border transactions.
• Provide tax advice for asset acquisitions, divestments, financing arrangements, IPO structuring and prospectus preparation.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office during reviews, audits and disputes.
• Monitor legislative changes and apply updated tax requirements to client engagements.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical updates.
• Organise client information to support tax advisory engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, Commerce, Accounting or related field with taxation coursework preferred.
• CA or CTA qualification, or currently pursuing the qualification.
• 4–5 years experience in Australian tax consulting, advisory, insurance or financial services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting legislation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
