Adviser - Business & Tax Advisory

About the role

Join a leading global accounting and tax advisory firm as an Adviser in Business & Tax Advisory. You will work on sophisticated Australian tax and accounting engagements, supporting privately owned businesses, high‑growth enterprises, family groups and listed companies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian financial statements for sole traders, companies, trusts and partnerships for review.
• Compile Australian income tax returns and Business Activity Statements (BAS) for various entities.
• Process journals accurately in client accounting software and maintain supporting workpapers.
• Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office on client matters, including payment arrangements.
• Research, draft technical advice and file notes to support engagements.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in Australian taxation and accounting.
• CA qualified, Part‑CA qualified or currently pursuing CA qualification.
• Relevant tertiary or postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
• Proactive mindset with ability to develop innovative solutions.
