Acting Trainer

About the role

As a member of Asurion’s Training and Development team, you will lead the onboarding and continuous education of new technicians. You will manage the full six‑week new‑hire training cycle, from orientation through to full production, ensuring a smooth transition and high performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and facilitate new‑hire classes and ongoing technical training sessions.
• Administer ticketing, IT support facilitation, and other administrative tasks for new employees.
• Collaborate with the Instructional Design team to create, review, and update training content.
• Assign assessments in the Learning Management System, run completion reports, and track progress.
• Schedule subject‑matter experts and speakers for specialized training.
• Maintain strong relationships with Operations to align training outcomes with customer experience metrics.

Required profile

• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel as needed.
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on supporting peers and managers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Experience using ticketing or IT support platforms.
