Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Specialist to join our retail finance team. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month‑end and year‑end processes.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions.
• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Reconcile bank accounts, cash, inventory, and General Ledger balances.
• Prepare trial balances, journal entries, cash‑flow statements, and other financial reports.
• Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and Philippine accounting standards.
• Coordinate with suppliers, banks, CPAs, auditors, and government agencies.
• Perform other accounting and finance‑related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Financial Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in retail, distribution, or FMCG.
• Advanced knowledge and hands‑on experience using Odoo ERP.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and Philippine tax regulations.
• Ability to prepare and manage trial balances, general ledger, journal entries, and cash‑flow reports.
• Effective communication with CPAs, external accountants, auditors, and finance professionals.
• High accuracy, trustworthiness, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
