Accounting Manager – US Hours Shift

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team during US business hours. The role involves overseeing daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiency across accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and reporting functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day activities of the accounting group, providing leadership and direction.
• Mentor and train staff and supervisors on AR processing, AP processing, bank reconciliation, financial closing, and reporting.
• Ensure 100% accuracy in AP setup, processing, payment, customer billing, collection, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) monthly, draft action plans for deviations, and discuss results with staff and executives.
• Oversee billing, collection, and client communications, addressing issues promptly.
• Champion technology and systems improvements, ensuring compliance with internal protocols and ethical standards.
• Manage team capacity, role assignments, and onboarding of new clients.
