Accounting Manager – Lead Finance & Accounting Team

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, analytical, and results‑driven Accounting Manager to lead our Finance and Accounting team. The role will oversee all accounting operations, ensure compliance with Philippine standards, and provide timely financial information to support business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day operations of the Accounting Department.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting records and the general ledger.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management functions.
• Supervise month‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Prepare and review tax filings, including VAT, Expanded Withholding Tax, Final Withholding Tax, Income Tax, and other BIR requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and government agencies during audits and compliance reviews.
• Develop, implement, and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
• Monitor company cash flow and provide recommendations to optimise financial performance.
• Prepare financial analyses, forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve operational efficiency and financial controls.
• Support management in strategic planning, business analysis, and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong experience in preparing and analysing financial statements and related reports.
• Proficiency in journal entries and maintaining accurate general‑ledger records.
• Solid finance background with demonstrated analytical skills for interpreting financial data.
• Knowledge of fixed‑assets accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and asset tracking.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
